Like many of us, I’ve faced challenging struggles over the past few years. At times, I found myself falling back into what was familiar and “safe,” even though it left me feeling uninspired and stuck.

I realized that by staying in this comfort zone, I was not only making myself miserable but also making it difficult for others to be around me. It was a tough realization, but it became clear that something needed to change. That’s why I’m so excited to introduce you to the world of Aurelda.

A Heartfelt Invitation to the World of Aurelda

Inspired by Mayan traditions, Aurelda blends ‘Aura,’ symbolizing radiant energy and light, with ‘Elda,’ meaning timeless wisdom. This is an inclusive, heart-centered sanctuary of ancient wisdom and modern healing, where anyone—especially those who may feel unseen—can find a place of connection and growth.

At the heart of Aurelda is Echoes of the Ceiba, a book I wrote earlier this year. Inspired by the landscape and my experiences with ancestral wisdom traditions here in the Mexican Riviera Maya, it tells the transformation story of Mo’an on his journey of healing and self-discovery. As a spiritual warrior, Mo’an’s path is shaped by ancient wisdom, deepening his resilience and insight, especially following the loss of his companion, Itzam’Yeh.

An Inclusive Breathwork and Meditation Community

Originally an escape for me, Aurelda has evolved into a vibrant, inclusive community offering multiple pathways for healing and creativity. Beyond storytelling, Aurelda now includes the free Aurelda Seeker’s Circle, where anyone can join and explore, as well as the Aurelda Inner Circle for those seeking a deeper journey through meditations and breathwork.

I’m also excited to reintroduce my breathwork practice, which has been a key part of my own healing. I am once again offering one-on-one breathwork, personalized sessions available online via Zoom or in-person here in Playa del Carmen. Soon, I’ll be adding in-person group breathwork ceremonies, a weekly online class, and an Aurelda-themed breathwork retreat—all inspired by the teachings I’ve embraced here in Mexico.
