As I dive deeper into the world of Aurelda and the ongoing development of Mo’an’s character, I find myself reflecting more and more on the connections between spirituality, sensuality, and self-healing. If you’ve been following Mo’an’s journey, you know that his path is anything but straightforward—it’s a complex weave of ancient wisdom, personal growth, and the often messy but beautiful reality of embracing every part of who we are.
Recently, I’ve been exploring themes of sacred sexuality and intimate connection in my own life. These aren’t just abstract ideas or plot devices—they’re deeply personal practices that have found their way into my spiritual journey here in the Riviera Maya. As someone who has always been curious about the intersection of sexuality and spirituality, I’ve started to explore how these ancient practices can offer profound healing and self-discovery, not just for Mo’an, but for myself as well.
One of the most significant scenes I’ve been working on lately involves Mo’an venturing into the forest near a cenote, bringing only his drum, flute, and an open heart. This isn’t just another scene in the Aurelda saga—it’s a reflection of my own experiences with creating sacred spaces and inviting connection with guides or higher aspects of ourselves. Mo’an’s intimate encounter with Chimal of the Light is a mirror of the sacred rituals I’ve been exploring, where touch, breath, and presence become pathways to deeper spiritual connection.
For me, these practices are about more than just the physical—they’re about honoring the full spectrum of who we are, without shame or fear. In a world that often tries to separate the sacred from the sensual, I’m learning to see them as intertwined threads of the same fabric. This perspective shift has not only influenced how I write Mo’an’s journey but also how I approach my own healing.
I’ve felt called to bring these experiences into Aurelda because I believe there’s power in reclaiming our right to explore and express our sensuality as a sacred act. For Mo’an, his connection with Chimal isn’t just a magical moment—it’s a pivotal step in his healing journey, a reminder that the divine is present in every aspect of our being, including our desires and our bodies.
Finding the Sacred in Sexuality

Through Mo’an’s story, I want to invite you all to consider what it might look like to explore your own connections to the sacred and the sensual. How might embracing every part of yourself, including your sexuality, open doors to deeper healing? What rituals or practices might you create in your own life to honor your full self?
As I continue to write and refine these scenes, I’m excited to share more about the process, the inspirations, and the ways these themes can resonate beyond the pages of Aurelda. Thank you for being part of this journey with me—it’s one that’s evolving, just as we all are.
Much love,
Jason
